再创造建筑空间的艺术。
建筑乃以有形存在,空间则以无形存焉。物质有形,必有界限,空间本无形无异,若有,必以物质界定以有形。足以说明建筑与空间的依托关系。并从另一个角度讲,人类对物性掌握愈益熟稔,构造智慧开发逐渐精进,对空间的诠释也益自由,人类便更加贴近空间无穷的理想。
由建筑步入室内空间,也是由物质到材料、光影的更替;也是由建筑向室内设计的艺术再创造的转换。但又不是纯粹的艺术再创造。纯艺术是张扬的,空间设计是能收敛自如的,既能把握“有形”和“无形”之间的尺度,把握住这个尺度,驰骋于设计中,创作也变得投入与充实起来,其创造出的空间作品也自然而然流露出高贵气质。唯有永不止息的创作设计,方可证明设计家存在的价值。
展望新的设计课题,室内设计已摒弃典型的带装饰性的后现代主义风格,使空间的开放性、穿透性加强;将室外景致移至室内,室内陈设移至室外的倒错手法。并在新材料运用上有新的趋势:减量使用装饰性材料;家俱材料尽可向休闲化、环保性的取向;原色自然材料和冷调工业材料穿插在空间运用中。另外更宜注重1:理论与设计相互激发、艺术与实务并重。2:以环保观念及善用自然资源为重要诉求,而所谓的环保也绝非只是植栽绿化而已,而是要将整个大自然的元素:阳光、空气、水都尽量带进来。3:设计过程日益重视资讯整合与团队合作。4:有心的设计者从雷同的共相中寻求自明性风格的诞生。

Rebuild the art of building space.
Buildings are visible existence while the space is not. A visible material has limits while a space has not. If a space ever has a limit, however, it is given by materials. This explains how building and space depends on each other. To see this issue from another ankle, while human being are more familiar with the nature of materials, more precise and developed in their intelligence with buildings, the more freedom they have for defining space, and this facilitates human beings to the ideal of limited space.
To advance from the building to the interior space within is a transition from object to material, light and shadows, as well as the transition from the building to the artistic rebuilding of interior design. However, this is not a pure artistic rebuilding. Pure art means focus and exaggeration, while space design art may mean smooth contraction. The company properly tackles the scale between “visible” and “invisible” in its design to make its works ever more focusing and substantial. The space work made in this way natural has a morally elevated disposition. A designer proves the value of his existence only by its incessant work.
The prospect of design indicates that people are turning their backs to the typical decorative style of post-modernism. They are more focus in open space and penetration, as well as the inverted method of moving exterior view to the interior and the interior furnishings to the exterior. There’s also a new trend in the use of materials, that is, to use as less decorating materials as possible; furniture materials are more and more focused in leisure and environmental friendliness, and; the alternative application in space design between natural materials of original color and industrial materials of cool color. More attentions are paid to:
1. The interactive inspiration between theory and practical design and attaching the same importance to art and practice.
2. The main appeal is environmental concept and economic application of natural resources. Environmental friendliness does not merely means plantation of greening, but to bring in as much as possible the elements of the entire nature: the sun, air and water.
3. More focusing in reorganization of intelligence and team cooperation.
4. A care designer may seek his self-explanatory style rather than echoing to the current stereotype.
